MEET THE TEAM

We are a team of highly skilled Project Managers with experience working at high-end Interior Design firms in luxury markets. Our backgrounds range from residential + commercial design, true colour expertise, and even construction project management. We work together as a team to give our clients the best possible service while meeting deadlines and managing budgets and we take so much pride in what we do!

Most of the team works remotely from Sunny South Florida, while a few of our team members work from home in Michigan and Massachusetts. In a world where working remotely has become the new normal we have cultivated long lasting relationships and created partnerships with Designers all over the United States.

DALIA SOLES

FOUNDER

My origin story doesn’t begin with a picturesque glimpse into my life as a little girl playing with fabrics and moving furniture around. I was the kid who took apart the remote to see if I could put it back together and dreamed of being a cashier so I could play on a register, I sketched dresses to become the world’s greatest fashion designer and sang in talent shows. During summer breaks I would stay up late watching the Style channel so I could attempt to recreate the makeup that the models wore on the runway. I never had one creative passion because I loved them all so much. After becoming a mother, I taught myself how to use Photoshop and Illustrator and launched a career as a graphic designer. I now spend my weekends ripping wood and laying tile in my own home whenever I get the chance. My curiosity has lead me to many industries including Marketing, Aviation, Hospitality, and Real Estate until finally, one day, I left it all to start over in the Interior Design industry. It was in this space that I discovered my undying devotion to creative processes. I began my foray into design by diving into the deep end of the ocean of problem solving in a way that is never portrayed truthfully on HGTV. I was thrown into the trenches in those early days, but I was fortunate enough to work with industry leaders who had already forged the path to guide me. Interior Design feeds my creativity, Project Management makes my organized heart happy, and my natural ability to lead has made me a teacher to an ever growing team as well as to the Designers that we’ve come to know and love at Design Assisted.

In my career, I have worked alongside top notch Designers, Contractors, Architects, Mill Workers, Seamstresses, and High-Profile Celebrities. Organization and communication are my specialty, but anticipating my clients needs has been my best skill yet. I launched Design Assisted as an answer to a need for project-by-project assistance in the Interior Design market and started as a one woman show in May 2020. I would be nothing without the entire Design Assisted Team and I owe our ever growing success to them and the Designers who have trusted us along the way. I may not have been born into the Interior Design industry, but every experience I’ve had thus far has lead me here, to a community that instantly felt like home.
